Controller and Contact Details
Key information about the data controller:
- Controller: the operator of the scorespin.cz website.
- Contact: email [email protected].
- What to contact us about: questions on the processing of personal data and requests to exercise the rights you have as a data subject.
What We Process and What We Do Not
Processing is limited to what is necessary for the operation, security and analytics of scorespin.cz, or for handling an email enquiry.
We process:
- technical access data (IP address, time, URLs visited, device, browser, operating system) for running, securing and analysing the website;
- cookies, under the rules set out in the Cookies part;
- data from messages sent to [email protected]: email address, text and a signature if you add one.
We do not process:
- data connected with gambling,
- data used for identity verification,
- payment transaction data,
- data of BetX players.
What the Data Are Used For
Every processing operation on this website has a defined purpose, legal basis and retention period, as framed by the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council), Act No. 110/2019 Coll. and § 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications.
The first purpose is the operation and security of the website. Here we rely on the controller's legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and keep data for no more than 12 months or according to technical capabilities. The second purpose concerns analytical and marketing cookies, which require your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and are kept until you withdraw it or according to your browser settings. The third purpose is handling an enquiry you send us by email. The basis is performance of a contract or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR), and the data are kept until the enquiry is resolved, for a maximum of 6 months.
Data Recipients
We do not hand personal data over to unverified entities, and third parties receive them only where a legal basis exists. Access may be given to two groups of recipients connected with running the website and its analytics:
- Hosting and CDN: ensure that the pages operate, stay available and are secure.
- Web analytics: evaluates statistical traffic data that help optimise the website.
Providers are not named individually unless they can be publicly identified within the website.
When Data Leave the EU/EEA
A transfer to a third country occurs when both of the following apply:
- an analytics tool is used, and
- its provider is based outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
In that situation the transfer is governed by standard contractual clauses within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR, which ensure an adequate level of protection for personal data. If we use no service outside the EU/EEA, data are not transferred to third countries.
Overview of Rights Under the GDPR
Under the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., you can request access to the personal data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR) and their correction if they are inaccurate (Art. 16). Subject to the conditions of Art. 17, you have the right to erasure, also referred to as the “right to be forgotten”, and under Art. 18 you can ask for processing to be restricted.
If processing is automated and based on consent or a contract, you are entitled to data portability (Art. 20). You may object to processing carried out on grounds of legitimate interest (Art. 21). And where consent is the legal basis, you can withdraw it, while processing performed up to that point remains lawful.
Request to Exercise a Right
Send the request by which you exercise any of your rights to [email protected]. The controller must deal with it without undue delay and reply no later than 30 days after receiving it. If the request is complex or the controller receives a larger number of them, it may extend the period by a further two months; in that case it will let you know.
Complaint to the Supervisory Authority
Do you believe that the law was not complied with when your personal data were processed? Then you can turn with a complaint to the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, in Czech Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů). It is located at Pplk. Sochora 27 in Praha 7, postcode 170 00, and its website is www.uoou.cz.
Website and Data Security
Data protection on this website has three components. The first is secured transmission: data between your device and the server are protected by the HTTPS/TLS protocol. The second consists of technical and organisational measures that protect access to personal data and reflect the current state of the art. The third is a regular review of security settings, combined with measures against unauthorised access and misuse.
Cookies on This Website
The term cookies refers to small text files that a website stores on your device. They are used to make the website work properly, to analyse traffic and sometimes to personalise content or advertisements.
Essential cookies
They provide basic functions without which the website might not work. We do not need consent for them (§ 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.).
Analytical and marketing cookies
Analytical cookies gather anonymised statistics on the use of the website; marketing cookies enable personalised advertising and the tracking of users across several websites. We store both groups only when you give us your consent.
Specific stored data
We store a ck-consent record. It keeps your choice regarding cookie consent and is retained for as long as your browser settings determine.
